Market structure first
Before indicators or strategies, students learn how exchanges, order books, market makers and clearing actually work. Understanding the plumbing prevents naive assumptions later.
We are a small, deliberate education team. Every lesson, case study and practice exercise on this site is reviewed by a senior analyst before it reaches a learner. We don't run signal services, we don't manage capital, and we don't sell systems with guaranteed outcomes.
Markets reward patience and disciplined process more than they reward intuition. Our role is to teach the structures used by professional researchers — and to make sure every student understands the limits of those structures, including the role of luck and risk.

Every claim in our material is sourced or qualified. Where evidence is mixed we say so. Where a method has limits, we publish them.
Position sizing, drawdown control and journaling are taught before any tactical or technical content. A student cannot complete a track without finishing the Risk Lab.
We explicitly teach the cognitive traps — overconfidence, recency bias, loss aversion — that derail otherwise well-prepared learners. Self-awareness is part of the curriculum.
Students leave with a documented research and review routine they can apply on their own — checklists, templates and weekly review formats included.
U.S.-focused modules cover SEC filings, Reg BI basics, FINRA disclosures and how to read public statements with a critical eye. Knowing the rules is part of being literate.
Our faculty has a combined 70+ years of experience across buy-side research, retail education and university-level finance teaching. Each instructor commits to a code of conduct: no promotional content, no undisclosed affiliations, no performance promises.
"I joined Upswingproductions because the curriculum is honest about what markets can and cannot teach you. That's rare."
"I focus on digital assets, but I teach risk first. The students who survive long enough to learn are the ones who size positions properly from day one."
"FX is misrepresented online. We strip out the noise and teach macro context, central-bank reading, and disciplined process."
It's the foundation we recommend before any tactical track.
